Barcelona, February 21, 2018 – Fractus obtained yesterday preliminary injunction measures against Wiko’s mobile phones and smartphones. Trade Court number 5 of Barcelona found that Fractus patent ES2410085 is being infringed by Wiko.
The Chinese company Wiko is requested to stop selling their mobile phones and smartphones in Spain immediately and until a final decision is made on the infringement case. Specifically, the court forbids Wiko to exhibit those phones during the 2018 Mobile World Congress that starts next Monday, February 26.
The decision is made after a preliminary hearing held on February 14, on the patent infringement action filed by Fractus last month.
