Barcelona, April 18, 2023 – Fractus has participated today in the Financing Breakfast organized by ACCIÓ, the public agency for the competitiveness of Catalan companies, attached to the Department of Business and Labor of the Generalitat of Catalonia in Spain.
Coinciding with the month in which Saint George is celebrated, a regional festival in Catalonia (Spain) that coincides with International Book Day, Rubén Bonet, Chairman and CEO of the company, has presented his book ‘Fractus, el ave fénix‘ , edited by Libros de Cabecera.
In the book, Bonet explains how the startup from Barcelona whose technology managed to make mobile phones embed their antennas inside the phone casing and what has been the path, not always easy, that the technology company, a pioneer in the Catalan Deep Tech ecosystem, has lived until it reached success.
Financing has been key in the history of Fractus. For this reason, Bonet has shared with the attendees the different paths that the company has followed throughout its history, such as seed capital, venture capital, public financing, management-buy-out and litigation funding.
During the meeting, emphasis was also placed on the company’s internationalization towards Korea and China, as well as the battle it has carried out to defend its patents in the courts of Texas, in the United States.
